Wasps were founded in 1867 in the Hampstead area of London but relocated to Coventry in December 2014 to play at Ricoh Arena, with the 2017/18 season marking the 150th anniversary of the Club.

Prior to the move to the West Midlands, Wasps had several homes. From 1923 to 1996 they were based at Repton Avenue in Sudbury in London, from 1996 to 2002 they played at Loftus Road in Shepherd's Bush, and from 2002 to 2014 they played at Adams Park in High Wycombe.

Drenched in history, Wasps have won 12 major titles, the last of which came in 2008 as they won the Premiership. They were European champions twice - in 2004 and 2007 - and have won six English titles, including three in a row from 2003 to 2005. With three Anglo-Welsh Cups and also the 2003 European Rugby Challenge Cup adding to the cabinet, Wasps are one of English Rugby’s most decorated clubs.

Current Director of Rugby and former Wales and British & Irish Lion Dai Young has been with the Club since 2011 and took the team to the Premiership semi-finals from 2015 to 2018 – including a final appearance in 2017, where they were edged by a penalty kick in extra-time.

Current international players include the likes of England’s Brad Shields, Dan Robson and Wasps Club Captain Joe Launchbury, Welshman Thomas Young, All Black Lima Sopoaga, and Springboks Juan de Jongh, Nizaam Carr and Ashley Johnson.
