Caroline Heimerl

Up until university, Caroline had minimal athletic experience due to her clubfeet and the perceived limitations they caused. In 2012, at the urging of her peers, she joined the women's rugby club at American University. The inclusivity and patience she found in the sport led her to continue playing long after her attendance at AU. After a brief stint with NYCRC, she joined the Lehigh Valley Hooligans (LVRFC) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where she now plays as a flanker.

Caroline also served as LVRFC Women's Representative from 2018-2019, and now manages their social accounts as Head of Communications. When she's not playing rugby, Caroline runs her own health and wellness business, specializing in nutrition and clubfoot clients.
